Andy Goodwin

Andy mostly works in acrylics and collage, preferring landscapes or seascapes as subjects. His work has been included in group and individual shows in the South West and the West Midlands, being selected for the RWA Open (Bristol)on a number of occasions.

Founder member of the Montpellier Group of Artists who exhibited in the Cotswolds, Andy's work continues to be inspired by English and Welsh landscape and coast, exploring and interpreting colour, shape and structure."

Each piece of work develops from observation of landscape or seascape. Hills, harbours and coast are of particular interest and are significant muses. Changing cloud and light are often components of the works inspiration, showing the permanence and constant change which can influence the final representation of a created world where land, sea and sky surprise us with strength, delicacy and unexpected colour and form.
